This week, we have a few key announcements to share. We've shared these announcements through the all-call, and we ask for your partnership in communicating with students.
📓 7th Period and 9th Period exams are on January 22. 6th Period and 8th Period exams are on January 23. Attendance on exam days is crucial! Second semester begins on Wednesday, January 24.
💻 A Freshman Career Panel is discussing Engineering, Skilled Trades, and Information Technology on January 29 and 30.
💉A Sophomore Industry Tour for Nursing and Health Care students will take place on January 24 and a tour for IT students will be on January 26.
⚖️ Applications are now open for the 2024 SEED Award Program! The deadline is January 26, 2024. Students can turn in their applications to our Welcome Center or submit an application online.
💵 We a having a FAFSA Focus Day on February 6 from 7:30 am - 7:00 pm in the McQuiston Center. FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
💵 The Battle Creek Community Foundation is not requiring a FAFSA application with their Universal Scholarship Application for 2024 which is due March 1. Go, Seniors!!
🏀 Women's Varsity Basketball Team has games on January 23 and 25.
🏊 Men's Swim Team has a meet on January 25.
🏀Men's Varsity Basketball Team has games on January 23 and 26.
🏋️ Wrestling Team has meets on January 24 and 27.
✋Attendance: The number one determinant of high school graduation is good school attendance. Students who miss 10% or more of school throughout the year miss out on significant class time and can quickly fall off track for graduation. Please help us support your children in their success by ensuring they are in school, on time, every day.
