Welcome to our Battle Creek Central Family Newsletter! We will use this tool to share news, announcements, and upcoming events to support our commitment to clear, consistent communication.
This week, we have a few key announcements to share. We've shared these announcements through the all-call and ask for your partnership in communicating with students at home.
- 💻 Be sure to check your grades in Skyward as we approach the end of the school year.
- 🌞Fines and fees for seniors are due. Please check your account in the Welcome Center.
- ⚾️There will be a Gathering of the Guardians on April 22 at the Spirit Field from 4-6. We will flood the fields to watch our BCC athletes on campus. There will also be a raffle.
- 🎷 There will be a band concert on April 23 at WK at 7:00.
- 🎉 There will be a Poetry Slam in the media center on April 25 from 3-4.
- ⌨️Summer school registration closes on April 26.
- 🩸 BCC will host a Blood Drive on April 26.
- 🚌 There's a trip to KCC on April 30 for seniors to register.
- 🌷 Junior/Senior Prom is on May 4.
- 🎤 Freshman Declaration Day is May 8. We will celebrate Freshmen as they make their Career Academy and Pathway choice.
- 🎷 There is a band concert on May 9 at 7:00 pm at WK.
- 💻 Odysseyware for seniors closes May 10.
- 🎈 Senior Decision Day is May 14. We will celebrate seniors and their post-secondary plans.
- 🌷 Seniors Honors Night is May 16.
- 🎉 The Charitable Union has prom dresses available until May 18.
- 📱 Cell phones must be turned off from 7:30-2:30.
- ⚾️Men's Baseball team has a game on April 25.
- ⚽️Women's Soccer has games on April 22 and 24.
- 🥎Women's Softball has games on April 22 and 25.
- 🎾Women's Tennis has matches on April 22, 24, and 27.
- 🥇Co-Ed Track has meets on April 22 and 26.
- ✋Attendance: Good school attendance is the number one determinant of high school graduation. Students who miss 10% or more of school throughout the year miss out on significant class time and can quickly fall off track for graduation. Please help us support your children in their success by ensuring they are in school, on time, every day.
