Welcome to our Battle Creek Central Family Newsletter! We will use this tool to share news, announcements, and upcoming events to support our commitment to clear, consistent communication.
This week, we have a few key announcements to share. We've shared these announcements through the all-call and ask for your partnership in communicating with students at home.
- 💻 Be sure to check your grades in Skyward as we approach the end of the school year.
- 🌞Fines and fees for seniors are due. Please check your account in the Welcome Center.
- 🎤 Freshman Declaration Day is May 8. We will celebrate Freshmen as they make their Career Academy and Pathway choices.
- 🎷 There is a band concert on May 9 at 7:00 pm at WK.
- 💻 Odysseyware for seniors closes May 10.
- 🎈 Senior Decision Day is May 14. We will celebrate seniors and their post-secondary plans.
- 🌷 Seniors Honors Night is May 16.
- 💥 Seniors' last day of school is May 17.
- 🎉 The Charitable Union has prom dresses available until May 18.
- 🍽 Senior Stroll, Senior Breakfast, and graduation practice are on May 22.
- 🎓Graduation is at 7:00 at CW Post Stadium on May 23.
- 🍔 No school to honor Memorial Day on May 27.
- 📚 Exam Week - May 28-31
- 🌞There will be a half day of school on May 30 and May 31 for final exams.
- 📱 Cell phones must be turned off from 7:30-2:30.
- ⚾️Men's Baseball team has games on May 9 and 11.
- ⚽️Women's Soccer has games on May 6, 8, and 11.
- 🥎Women's Softball has games on May 9 and 11.
- 🎾Women's Tennis has matches on May 8 and 11.
- 🥇Co-Ed Track has meets on May 7 and 11.
- ✋Attendance: Good school attendance is the first determinant of high school graduation. Students who miss 10% or more of school throughout the year miss out on significant class time and can quickly fall off track for graduation. Please help us support your children's success by ensuring they are in school on time daily.
