Welcome to our Battle Creek Central Family Newsletter! To support our commitment to clear, consistent communication, we will be using this tool to share news, announcements, and upcoming events.
This week, we have a few key announcements to share. We've shared these announcements through the all-call, and we ask for your partnership in communicating with students at home.
- 💻 Be sure to check your grades in Skyward as we are halfway through the second semester!
- 🎉 The Charitable Union has prom dresses available from March 9 to May 18.
- ⌨️ There is a Career Fair for Seniors on March 13 from 9:00 am - 1:50 pm.
- 💐Spring Break is from March 25-29.
- 📱 Cell phones must be turned off from 7:30-2:35.
- 🐹 Anime Club meets on Tuesdays from 2:50-5:00.
- ⚽️Soccer tryouts are March 11-13 from 5-7 at the football field.
- 🥎 Softball tryouts are March 11-13 from 3-5 on the softball field.
- 💻 On April 10, Juniors take the SAT and Sophomores take the PSAT 10.
- 💻On April 11, Juniors complete the Work keys Testing and Freshmen take the PSAT 8/9.
- ⚾️Men's Baseball team has a game on March 21.
- ⚽️Women's Soccer has a game on March 19.
- 🥎Women's Softball has a game on April 4.
- 🎾Women's Tennis has a game on April 5.
- 🥇Co-Ed Track has a meet on April 2.
- ✋Attendance: The number one determinant of high school graduation is good school attendance. Students who miss 10% or more of school throughout the year miss out on significant class time and can quickly fall off track for graduation. Please help us support your children in their success by ensuring they are in school, on time, every day.
