Welcome to our Battle Creek Central Family Newsletter! To support our commitment to clear, consistent communication, we will be using this tool to share news, announcements, and upcoming events.
This week, we have a few key announcements to share. We've shared these announcements through the all-call, and we ask for your partnership in communicating with students at home.
- 💻 Be sure to check your grades in Skyward as the third marking period ended on March 15!
- 🎉 The Charitable Union has prom dresses available from March 9 to May 18.
- 🌼Join us for Parent Engagement Night at BCC on Monday, March 18 from 5-6:30. We will address the "E's" of summer - every high school student ENROLLED or EMPLOYED. We will meet in the Commons to discuss summer employment and summer school enrollment. Hope to see you there!!
- 💐Spring Break is from March 25-29.
- 📱 Cell phones must be turned off from 7:30-2:35.
- 💻 On April 10, Juniors take the SAT and Sophomores take the PSAT 10. Freshmen and Seniors do not have to report.
- 💻On April 11, Juniors complete the Work keys Testing and Freshmen take the PSAT 8/9. Sophomores and Seniors do not have to report.
- 📽 Mark your calendars for BCC's production of The Outsiders. The show will be at 7:00 pm on April 19 and 20. You can get your tickets at the door.
- 🐹 Anime Club meets on Tuesdays from 2:50-5:00.
- ⚾️Men's Baseball team has a game on March 21.
- ⚽️Women's Soccer has a game on March 19.
- 🥎Women's Softball has a game on April 4.
- 🎾Women's Tennis has a game on April 5.
- 🥇Co-Ed Track has a meet on April 2.
- ✋Attendance: The number one determinant of high school graduation is good school attendance. Students who miss 10% or more of school throughout the year miss out on significant class time and can quickly fall off track for graduation. Please help us support your children in their success by ensuring they are in school, on time, every day.
