Welcome to our Battle Creek Central Family Newsletter! To support our commitment to clear, consistent communication, we will be using this tool to share news, announcements, and upcoming events.
This week, we have a few key announcements to share. We've shared these announcements through the all-call, and we ask for your partnership in communicating with students at home.
- 💻 Be sure to check your grades in Skyward as the third marking period ended on March 22!
- 🌞Fines and fees for seniors are due April 5.
- 🎉 The Charitable Union has prom dresses available from March 9 to May 18.
- 🌼There is an online High School Climate Change Symposium on April 6 from 9am-5pm. Join us to discuss research, justice, and the science behind climate change. Website: hsclimatesymposium.com.
- 📱 Cell phones must be turned off from 7:30-2:35.
- 💻 On April 10, Juniors take the SAT and Sophomores take the PSAT 10. Freshmen and Seniors do not have to report.
- 💻On April 11, Juniors complete the Work keys Testing and Freshmen take the PSAT 8/9. Sophomores and Seniors do not have to report.
- 🙂 Parent/Teacher/Student conferences are on Thursday, April 18 from 3-7 pm.
- 🌻 There is a half day of school on Friday, April 19.
- 📽 Mark your calendars for BCC's production of The Outsiders. The show will be at 7:00 pm on April 19 and 20. You can get your tickets at the door.
- 🎉 There will be a Poetry Slam in the media center on April 25 from 3-4.
- 🩸 BCC will host a Blood Drive on April 26.
- 🐹 Anime Club meets on Tuesdays from 2:50-5:00.
- ⚾️Men's Baseball team has games on April 2 and 4.
- ⚽️Women's Soccer has games on April 2 and 10.
- 🥎Women's Softball has games on April 4 and 9.
- 🎾Women's Tennis has games on April 5 and 9.
- 🥇Co-Ed Track has meets on April 2 and 5. The April 2 track meet is the first in our newly renovated facility. Come and celebrate with us!
- ✋Attendance: The number one determinant of high school graduation is good school attendance. Students who miss 10% or more of school throughout the year miss out on significant class time and can quickly fall off track for graduation. Please help us support your children in their success by ensuring they are in school, on time, every day.
