Bearcat Blast Elementary Program Update

Start Time

Our doors will open at 8:25 a.m., and the program will begin at 8:30 a.m. For those dropping students off in the morning, we kindly request that they not be left without supervision until a staff member is available to meet them outside.

Daily Schedule

Each day will include ELA, Math, Music, and recess in the mornings and fun activities and/or field trips in the afternoons. A daily field trip schedule will be shared soon as well.

Dismissal

Dismissal is at 4 p.m. each day.

Due to the high traffic around the area of our location during school start and end times, it is important for all families participating in the Bearcat Blast elementary program to be familiar with our drop-off and pickup procedures.

Drop-off Procedures

In the morning, all students should be dropped off in the front circle drive. Students should not be unattended and out of cars until the doors open and staff are available to welcome students inside.

The parking lot in the front drop-off area is reserved for staff and other building visitors. Please do not utilize

Please do not park your car in the drop off procession. If you must get out of your car and come to the office for any reason please ask personnel to let you into the parking area. It is best to wait until after the doors open at 8:25 am.

Pickup Procedures

Please pick students up in the parking lot on the west side of the building and follow the traffic pattern shown below to pick students up in the holding area near the basketball courts. Students will be lined up by grade level and waiting with staff.

Remember to pull forward as far as possible to keep the flow of the vehicles moving.

If you need to pick your student up early, please call the office before 2:00 p.m. to let us know ahead of time.
