How to Update Student Contact Information

It is important to make sure that we have accurate contact information for each enrolled BCPS student so that we are able to keep you updated with information and learning opportunities over the summer. Please take a moment to update your primary phone number and mailing address by following the directions included here.

Apply Now: Free GVSU Summer Programs for Middle & High Schoolers!

Grand Valley State University (GVSU) is now accepting applications from BCPS students for three exciting summer programs for 2021! We are proud to partner with GVSU to offer these camps that are free to BCPS students and are great ways to ensure your student starts the next school year with the tools they need to succeed. Learn more about this year’s offerings. Applications are due on Thursday, April 1st.

Free High-Speed Internet Option Available to Qualifying BCPS Families

We’re excited to announce that through a new partnership with Comcast and the Battle Creek Community Foundation, BCPS families now have access to a program offering FREE high-speed home internet to those who qualify. The Comcast Internet Essentials Partnership program will provide free equipment and high-speed home internet for qualifying families for up to 12 months.

BCPS families with students in need of a desk to support at-home learning can pick one up for free this week at Urbandale Elementary Thursday, September 17 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday, September 19: 9 from a.m. - 12 p.m.

Bearcat Alumna Spotlight: Daniele Bwamba, Class of 2014

Danielle Bwamba, Battle Creek Central High School class of 2014, is a food scientist working for Hershey's Chocolate and Candy. She played a key role in developing the Limited Edition Red, White, and Blue Hershey's Candy Bar, available in stores this holiday weekend.
