Last week, Springfield Middle School held its Second Annual Culture Fair. The event showcased the many rich cultures that make up the school and included dancing, food from various local cultures, and projects they've completed this year focused on learning about other cultures.
Springfield student Aalyah Morgan helped plan the event and shared:
"Wednesday, November 29, we had our culture fair. We have been getting ready for a couple of months now, and it finally came. We made posters and presentations, and we studied different cultures from around the world for our projects in our World Culture class. We made bracelets, and we wore shirts that said I love culture. My whole family and all my cousins came to the culture fair. We all had a lot of fun. They had a piƱata and face paints, and there was dancing, and everyone had a lot of fun."
