Battle Creek Central High School Hall of Fame
The Battle Creek Central H.S. Hall of Fame began in 2004 and holds a celebration/induction banquet each April where the accomplishments of either staff or graduates of BCCHS or Springfield High School are honored. It's known as the "plaque wall" as there are well over 215 of them in the main hallway of Battle Creek Central as of the 2023 induction.
Since 2007, our organization has been awarding scholarships to BCCHS graduating seniors; and since then, the group has awarded more than $45,000. The group also realizes that since part of the nomination form for induction makes note of "volunteerism" or "community service" that our group should be doing the same. We have been making monetary donations back to nonprofit organizations in our community amounting to $3,500 - $4,000 a year. We believe there is a serious need in our community and we appreciate being a part of a solution.
The Board is always looking to add new members to our non-profit organization. Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:15 pm - during and after COVID, we have been ZOOMING our meetings. Please check us out and should you have any questions, please contact one of us.

- Did a 5-week series of Black History during the month of February highlighting some of our notables
- A series of Armed Forces heroes during Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Nov. llth, and Dec. 7th
- And general info regarding our scholarships, community donations, and Spaghetti Fundraiser Dinner which supports our scholarship fund (it is a "working" fundraiser where we box-up the meals and ready them for pick-up at the door of the restaurant), and anything else that we're involved in/with.
